Privacy by design
Your sports data remains yours.
This is the current MVP privacy explanation and not yet the final legal privacy notice. A formal legal review is required before broad commercial launch.
What we process
The current Athlete Profile asks for your first name and the sports or interests you explicitly choose. If you select HYROX, you can also provide your HYROX division and optional 5K or 10K running times for the supported HYROX Performance Intelligence modules. If you save a HYROX race, we store the race name, date, splits, optional station targets and relevant analysis version.
Some earlier beta profiles may still contain fields collected by the previous HYROX-first profile, such as age category, sex category, weight, experience or weekly training availability. Athvaro no longer asks for those fields in the active profile. Their retention and cleanup must be reviewed before external beta.
If you separately opt in to product analytics, Athvaro stores a deliberately small set of signed-in product-use events. Your Athlete Profile sport-interest array is not copied into those events. When you deliberately choose a Discover/Gear sport filter or open a guide or manufacturer source, a short controlled label describing that specific action may be stored, for example discover:triathlon. Analytics events do not contain your running times, race splits, free-text input or medical information.
Why we process it
Explicit sport interests are used to make For You, Events, Discover and Gear more relevant without guessing your sport. HYROX profile and race data are used only for the currently supported HYROX-specific Performance Intelligence and race-history flows. Optional minimal product-use events are used to measure activation, cross-platform usage, intentional inventory use and return.
We do not use your athlete data for public content, advertising profiles or model improvement without a separate valid basis or consent where required. Athvaro does not sell athlete data to advertisers.
Our principles
- Missing athlete data is never invented.
- Sport context comes from explicit choices, not silent inference.
- Sport-specific calculations are not transferred to another sport without a separately valid method.
- Agents receive only purpose-limited information.
- Product analytics are optional and event-level; profile sport interests are not copied into analytics rows, although an intentionally clicked sport/category can be recorded as controlled interaction context.
- Commercial compensation or a Gear Benefit does not influence sports or gear recommendations.
- Athvaro does not provide medical diagnoses.
Saved HYROX races
Your saved HYROX races are available only inside your account. Active application records can be removed through the product flows we provide. Database backups may follow a separate retention cycle; immediate removal from every backup is not promised.
Your choices
You can change your explicit sport interests and optional product-analytics preference from your Athlete Profile. Self-service export, correction, full service-consent withdrawal and account-deletion workflows must be completed and legally reviewed before external beta. Athvaro will publish a verified privacy contact address before inviting external users.
