COROS Heart Rate MonitorHeart-rate sensors · COROS

Heart Rate Monitor

Upper-arm optical heart-rate sensor for athletes who prefer an arm band over a chest strap during mixed running and functional training.

No verified shop link for your location yet.

Trade-off

Trade-off: During burpees, an upper-arm sensor avoids placing a chest-mounted sensor between your chest and the floor. That may feel more comfortable; it is not evidence of better measurement accuracy. However, COROS uses Bluetooth rather than ANT+ for this sensor and compatibility still depends on the receiving device.

Polar H10Heart-rate sensors · Polar

H10

Chest-strap ECG heart-rate sensor for athletes who prioritise electrical measurement and broad training-device connectivity.

No verified shop link for your location yet.

Trade-off

Trade-off: Chest placement can feel less convenient during some functional movements than an arm sensor. Comfort, strap fit and device compatibility should decide rather than assuming ECG is always the better wearing experience.

How Athvaro ranks gear

  • No product ranks higher because of commission, sponsorship, margin or a member benefit.
  • Athvaro separates manufacturer facts from Athvaro interpretation.
  • There is no universal best shoe or product: sport, intended use, fit, stability, efficiency, grip and athlete preference can trade off against each other.
  • If your current gear works reliably for your intended use, you may not need anything new.
